From Saron's Mental Health Ministry: Creating Caring Faith Communities
Let’s fill Shepherd’s corner with Saron caring people to:
· Learn about mental wellness
· Learn what other churches are doing
· Learn how Saron might support people and families experiencing mental health conditions
Our presenter is Kay King from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Join us Wednesday, June 8, 6:30-8:00 (with root beer floats starting at 6:15!)
Lupulin Parent’s Night Has being a parent ever challenged your faith? Come join us at Lupulin June 16th from 7 to 8. Saron will be hosting a devotional focused on parenting. Come support local business and find a place to talk with peers who may be wrestling with similar things! No childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there.
Sisters of Saron (Women's Group)
Sisters of Saron (SOS for short) is a monthly meeting for women of all ages, and we are CHANGING our meeting time to the last Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in Shepherd's Corner. We are meeting in person and online as requested so you can join us any way you feel comfortable. We are reading the book Good Enough by Kate Bowler and Jessica Richie. It is a book of short reflections about how meaning can be discovered amid the chaos of life and that celebrates kindness, honesty and our interdependence to one another and dependence on God. Please join us and contact Mary Niklaus at firstname.lastname@example.org or Val Sidlo, email@example.com for more information.
*Due to Memorial Day, our next meeting is Monday, May 23rd.
