Saron's Ministries and Organizations

Congregation Council: 

This group is comprised of 9-10 of Saron’s members including the Pastor(s).  These members are elected each February and meet the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm at Saron.

Faith Formation Committee: 

Responsible for all educational aspects of the congregation.  For more information, including meeting dates and times contact the Church Office at 763-263-2209

Hospitality Committee: 

This is a fellowship group, dedicated to offering opportunities for members of the congregation to share time together out of the context of worship.  Meetings are held periodically throughout the year at Saron.  For more information, including meeting dates and times contact the Church Office at 763-263-2209.

Mission Committee: 

Aims to deepen spiritual life and reach out to new and established members.  They assist in contacting and/or visiting hospitalized members.  Responsible for encouraging congregational support via member   time, talent, and treasure  surveys. Building and Grounds Committee: 

Responsible for maintaining the church, the grounds, and equipment.   Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at  7:00pm at Saron.  For more information, including meeting dates and time contact the Church Office at 763-263-2209.

Worship & Music Committee:  

Responsible for the components of the worship services (music, liturgy, etc.).  Meetings are held monthly throughout the year at Saron.  For more information, including meeting dates and times contact Church Office at 763-263-2209.

Youth and Family Committee: 

The youth committee is comprised of both youth and adult members and is responsible for coordinating the youth programs  of Saron. For more information, including meeting dates and times contact Church Office at 763-263-2209.

Agape Christian Pre-School Committee: 

The Agape Christian Preschool Committee meets monthly to plan fundraisers, support the staff, and oversee the general operations of the preschool.  Committee members include Saron members, preschool parents/guardians, and the preschool staff.  For more information contact Director Jenny John at the preschool at 763-263-2203.

Audit Committee: 

The audit committee is formed one or two times a year to do a financial audit of the records from the CPA.

Nominating Committee: 

The nominating committee is formed in December to get nominees for council and committees to be voted in during the congregational meeting in February.  The nominating committee consists of the outgoing council members from the previous year with one additional member.

Endowment Committee: 

Meets as needed to manage the endowment fund.

S.A.S.S.Y (Saron’s Active Seniors Staying Young): 

This group meets once month for planned activities either at the church or somewhere else.  Adults 55+ years young are welcome to join.  For more information, contact the Church Office at 763-263-2209.

Sarah Unit: 

This group is a social and service unit and is open to all women.    The meetings include a social time and bible study.  They also provide the baptismal napkins.  Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month at 1:00pm at Saron March - October.  For more information contact the Church Office at 763-263-2209.
